In the year of our Lord 1978, Al Baxter answered the call of God to start the Faith Miracle Temple Ministries in the city of Toronto. Through hard work, dedication and the grace of God the church grew and multiplied.
Rev. Al Baxter now officially ordained as the Pastor, moved quickly to secure 615 Vaughn Rd. as a place of worship, a place they later purchase. The church continued to grow and multiply, ministries were born including the Healing and Restoration Broadcast, a weekly telecast seen coast to coast in Canada and the USA.
As the Grace and Blessing of God followed the ministry under the leadership of Rev. Al Baxter, new vision and inspiration began to pour into various areas. Rev. Al Baxter along with the membership sold the property at 615 Vaughn Rd. and purchases the church building at 1060 Glencarin Ave. There the mighty power of God was seen with signs and wonders. Miraculous healing of all sorts followed the ministry.
Within five years there was hardly room to accommodate the growing membership. Being ordained to the Bishopric, Bishop Al Baxter again being moved by the Holy Spirit purchased a large industrial Building at 28 Martin Ross Ave., in 1995 and converted it into a beautiful Sanctuary and Banquet Hall facilities. The Faith Miracle Temple building stands as a landmark and Headquarters of branch churches and outreach ministries in South America, the Caribbean, England and here in Canada.
After 30 years of ministry, the Faith Miracle Temple of Toronto Inc. continues to play a vital and important role within the community both here at home and abroad. The Lord has been favorable to this ministry and under the unction of the Holy Spirit many people have been healed from brain tumors, heart problems, cancer, strokes and all manner of sickness and diseases. We have witnessed the power of the Holy Spirit as three dead people came back to life as Bishop Al Baxter prayed the prayer of faith and called their spirits back into their bodies.
The Healing and Restoration Broadcast, has changed and affected the lives of many people in the Caribbean, South America, U.S.A, the U.K and throughout Canada. Through its outreach ministries the Faith Miracle Temple Ministries have helped thousands in need around the world. Our goal and vision for the future is to expand our current programs and to develop new visions, programs and projects to strengthen and contribute to the well being of our community
Over the years, many high Profile Preachers and Prophets have visited Faith Miracle Temple. Their ministries and messages have helped to shape the face of Faith Miracle Temple Ministries. The impact of these great men and women of God, will never be forgotten.

Bishop Al Baxter fullfils the entire mantle of a Bishop, and accordingly, has ordained many men and women of God. Perhaps the most notable would be Bishop John Francis, who recieved his ordination to the bishoppric from Bishop Dr. Al Baxter.
